The Killers: Live 8 was the Top for 2005

The Killers are going to start the preperations for the recording of their new album, but during the summer they had some very successful shows in several fests. But Live 8, where they performed "All These Things That I've Done" was something that they will never forget, according to their vocalist Brandon Flowers.

The Killers

Flowers told Spin: "That was a high point for us. We're kind of scared because we've had so many on this album, what are we going to do for the second record? We have to play on Mars or something to beat Live8."

Alex Kapranos answers to Liam Gallagher's attack!

Kapranos, Franz Ferdinand's singer, had a hard answer to Liam's Gallagher bad comments to Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party and Kaiser Chiefs (during an interview for the support of their new album).

Alex said: "He knows he can get in the papers from being as obnoxious as he can. When I read the press that surrounded them earlier in 2005, it sounded like an extremely anxious, neurotic young girl at a high school who though that she had younger, better looking competition and was just bitching about everything about her".

"I think everybody, Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, every contemporary band was at the end of some form of vitriol from him. I'm not particularly bothered by him, it just seems like bitchery from cheap neurosis."
