The superb pop group Belle and Sebastian have covered the song of Rod Stewart called "Baby Jane", for the b-side of their last single called 'White Collar Boy'. Baby Jane hit the top of UK charts for 1983. The single will be released on June 26.

It is the third Belle and Sebastian single from their LP "The life pursuit". So it is obvious that this is a successfull record. Belle and Sebastian will have many appearances in summer festivals like 02 Wireless bash in London's Hyde Park on June 21.

Radiohead

Radiohead played, yesterday night their second show. Radiohead premiered some new songs, from the upcoming album. Although, previously played on recent shows, the group included 'Open Pick', '15 Step', 'Arpeggi', 'Go Slowly', 'Spooks', 'Bodysnatchers' and 'House Of Cards' in the setlist last night. Of course the classic "Exit Music (For A Film)', 'Airbag', 'Lucky', 'Planet Telex', 'There There' and 'Morning Bell' were also performed. How long should we wait for the new material be a Radiohead album?

Besides Thom Yorke released his solo (?) album (though he insists on not telling that this is a solo album). This is a solution for all the fans of Radiohead till their new album hit the stores.

Keith Richards

Keith Richards, as it is well known had a serious trauma after falling under a tree, in Fiji Islands (27 April). He had a surgery on May 8. There were also some rumours (in Sun Newspaper) that Keith Richards had a second operation and that he won't be able to play live never again.

The spokesman of Keith Richards denied the rumours: "Contrary to stories in newspapers in New Zealand and the UK, Keith Richards did not undergo a second operation. The first and only operation was done on Monday, May 8 and was 100% successful. There was no brain damage. Keith Richards continues to improve as expected. The Rolling Stones "A Bigger Bang European tour" will begin in June with details to follow shortly."

Rolling Stones announced two additional bands that will support their european tour. Kaiser Chiefs and Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs will open for Rolling Stones at the Zagreb Maximir Stadium on July 5. Besides Kasabian will play as support for the Rolling Stones at the Zurich Airfield Dubendorf (August 5) and the Nice Palais Nikaia (8).

Guns n Roses had also signed for two appearances as supports for A Bigger Bang Tour, at the Nurnberg Easy Credit Station on July 10 and Leipzig's Zentralstadion on July 12.

Editors

Editors is one of the most successfull one-album band. With their debut album "The Back Room", Editors became one of the most popular groups in alternative music. With influences from Interpol, Joy Division etc they created an important album.

This summer, Editors will be very busy with continuing tour. They announced another one date for live show: They will take place for this year's Jersey Live festival. The band join other Main Stage acts Snow Patrol, The Zutons. The ticket will cost 35 GBP. The festival will take place at Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity on September 2.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Red Hot Chili Peppers had an intimate gig in London at Cancas King Cross. Only 300 fans of the group, had the chance to watch them, after a BBC1 radio competition. Red Hot Chili Peppers had a 90 minutes show, where the played 6 new tracks: 'Slow', 'Charlie', 'Call Me Baby', '21st Century', 'Hard To Concentrate' and forthcoming single 'Dani California', from the upcoming album Stadium Arcadium.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers said little from the stage. Superstar singer Anthony Keidis wore a black T-shirt and drunk freequently from a cup of tea, between songs. Bassist Flea said "Don't read magazines and don't watch commercials, they rot your brain - unless its our ipod commercial".

Madona

Madona has revealed info about three extra live shows for her upcoming UK leg of her world tour.

Madona has extended her tour which starts in Los Angeles on May 21 - and now will play six British shows this summer.Three new dates at London's Wembley Arena have been added to the trek on August 9, 10 and 12, meaning that the star will now play five nights in total at the venue.

Tickets are on sale now and for ticket availability go to NME.COM/Gigs.

Radiohead reveal info about the upcoming album. They say that this album will be even more terrifying than Ok, Computer. Thom Yorke also said that it won't have a political feeling.

Radiohead's vocalist said: "It's about that anonymous fear thing, sitting in traffic, thinking, 'I'm sure I'm supposed to be doing something else'.
Interestingly enough it's similar to 'OK Computer' in a way. It's much more terrifying. But 'OK Computer' was terrifying too -some of the lyrics were."

Razorlight

Razorlight give info for their second album!

After the successfull debut of Razorlight the groups is back for the recording of a second album! The band is currently recording the second album. They have already recorded 4 tracks.

Carl Dalemo said: "We started recording the album and have been ever since," he wrote. "Serious work my friends but it's going damn well. Sounds more and more like a classic every day". He added: "Songs like 'In The Morning', 'Who Needs Love', 'Fall To Pieces' and 'I Can't Stop This Feeling I've Got' were recorded in about a week,".

The Razorlight work with Chris Thomas, producer of the legendary Sex Pistols. They will continue recording, with break for their headline gig "Teenage Cancer Trust gig" at the Royal Albert Hall on March 30.

Radiohead apologize for the problems with selling tickets (for the group's forthcoming event), via their site.

Radiohead's frontman, Thom Yorke apologized for problems with selling tickets via their official site. Radiohead released a number of tickets for members of group official mailing list. The problem was caused when tickets were due to go on sale. The official website couldn't cope due to huge demand. Eventually they got it up and running, but some fans wasted hours attempting to get a ticket for the May tour.

Writing on the Radiohead's official website, Yorke said: "Sorry about the system meltdown. We were caught by surprise by the volume of traffic. Even though we should technically be able to handle it.. The numbers were far beyond what we expected. So sorry about all the confusion."

Morrisey

Morrisey announced the day before yesterday, that the Smiths had a proposal to reunite for live gig in last year's Coachella fest. But they turned it down.

The offer of 5 million dollars didn't seem to attract the ex band of Morrisey..

..speaking at a press conference before his live at South by South West music festival (March 16), Morrisay explained that "money doesn't come into it".

U2 had to postpone their tour gigs in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Hawaii (10 gigs) because of an illness of a immediate family member!! U2 announced that on March 8 on their website explaining that the move was "unavoidable".

Arthur Fogel, president of the Next Adventure, which had been promoting the trek said: "Any fan of U2 will realize that this decision was not taken lightly,". This announcement ended prematurely the successfull band tour "Vertigo 06". The "Next Adventure" also announced that the gigs were postponed but no canceled..

Gorillaz Live

Gorillaz are back for a new live event in April. The most successfull cartoon band will have gigs during 02-06 April at Harlem's Apollo Theater. They will present the great 2005's album Demon Days in its entirety. Damon Alburn, the lead human Gorilla will appear not alone. The show will also feature guest stars De La Soul, Roots Manuva, the Happy Mondays' Shaun Ryder, the Pharcyde's Bootie Brown, Neneh Cherry, Martina Topley-Bird, and Ike Turner.

The last shows from Gorillaz (in November) were all sold out. So everyone interested in enjoying the gigs should try to get a ticket as soon as possible. Tickets get on sale at March 10.

Guns n' Roses Chinese Democracy

Guns n' Roses new album Chinese Democracy seems that will come to release in a few months.. 15 years after the last release of a Guns n' Roses LP G n' R are back at last. Unfortunately the final announcement for the release date of the album is not yet reported.

4 track of the album have already leaked via internet. The titles of the four songs are: 'T.W.A.T. (There Was A Time)', 'The Blues', 'I.R.S.' and 'Better'.

Guns n' Roses are expected to demonstrate more material from the new album during their headline performance in this summer's Download festival, alongside Metallica (9 - 11 June, Donnigton Park).

had a terrible accident in a rainy road in Missisipi. Brad Arnold was terribly hit but now he is much better. The accident happened at february 1st. Terika, his wife (she was driving the car), was luckier and she wasn't injured

"They were coming back from a casino, hit some kind of water on the road. The car hydroplaned, went down a high embankment and they hit a tree. I guess if Brad hadn't been wearing his seat belt, he'd probably be dead now," band member Todd Harrell said Thursday.

Harrell said Arnold has "35 or 40 stitches in the side of his face."

"He had a plastic surgeon come in and work on him, sewed his ear back on," Harrell said. "He's going to be all right. He was hit hard, though."

For the charity effort, Stipe chose to cover Joseph Arthur's "In the Sun," a song he had grown attached to before Katrina.

and ex-Smashing Pumpkin James Iha to respectively sing along and produce a new recording of the song (see "Chris Martin, Justin Timberlake Help Michael Stipe Raise Katrina Funds"). ("Of course I said, 'Yeah!' " Iha said.) Luckily Martin was already in Georgia and in the middle of trying to enlist Stipe to sing with him at a concert. "I told him, 'I'll come sing with you in Atlanta if you come to Athens and do this song with me,' " Stipe said.

He then recruited Justin Timberlake to do a remix version through their mutual friend Lukas Haas; Timberlake brought in Will.I.Am to help out as well. "I didn't even think about it, I just did it," Will said.

"I really loved the elements they brought in, the way their ears heard the song," Stipe said. "If you listen really close, you can hear Justin singing backup in the chorus."

Stipe wound up with six versions of the song, each with a different vocal (all six versions are available on iTunes).

The Killers: Live 8 was the Top for 2005

The Killers are going to start the preperations for the recording of their new album, but during the summer they had some very successful shows in several fests. But Live 8, where they performed "All These Things That I've Done" was something that they will never forget, according to their vocalist Brandon Flowers.

Flowers told Spin: "That was a high point for us. We're kind of scared because we've had so many on this album, what are we going to do for the second record? We have to play on Mars or something to beat Live8."

RHCP announced more details about their new double album! The follow album of By the Way will be released at May 8 and it is called "Stadium Arcadium". 24 tracks are included in this album. The first single of the album is "Dani California" and some other titles are: Snow", "Animal", "Charlie", "Desecration Smile".

RHCP are in the studio since last March. The producer of the album is Rick Rubin who was the producer of some System Of A Down and Beastie Boys albums.

Health Problem for Jack White

White Stripes had to postpone the Japan tour due to Jack White Suffering of an acute vocal chord problem. The White Stripes were due to kick off on January 12, playing two dates in Tokyo and one each in Osaka and Nagoya. The dates are hoped to be rescheduled as soon as possible, although the White Stripes still plan to play the Big Day Out festival, which rolls through New Zealand and Australia from January 20.

However, in a mail-out to fans, it was revealed that Jack has been instructed to not speak or sing for the next two weeks in order to protect his vocal cords and speed recovery.
